Ingredients - 1/4 cup butter or regular margarine 1 - 10 oz bag (40 marshmallows) regular size marshmallows 1/2 cup peanut butter 5 cups crisp rice cereal 1 cup peanuts, chopped in tiny pieces 1 - 6 oz pkg butterscotch chips 1 - 6 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate pieces Preparation: Melt the butter or regular margarine in a 3 quart saucepan over very low heat. Add the marshmallows. Stir until melted and well blended. Blend in the peanut butter. Remove from heat. Stir in the cereal and the peanuts until well coated. Press mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Melt the butterscotch and chocolate pieces in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Pour mixture over the cereal. Spread to cover. Chill. Cut into squares. |
