Ingredients - 1/2 cup Butter 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil 1 Large Egg 1 (12 ounces) can Frozen Orange Juice, thawed 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 teaspoon Ginger 3 cups Rolled Oats 1 cup Raisins 1 cup sliced Almonds Preparation: 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. 2. In medium mixing bowl cream butter and mix well with eggs and vegetable oil. 3. Stir in orange juice. Stir in vanilla. 4. In a separate bowl, combine whole-wheat flour, baking soda, and ginger. 5. Add flour mixture to orange liquid. 6. Stir in rolled oats, raisins and sliced almonds. 7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto non-stick cookie sheet. 8. Flatten cookies to ½” thick with back of spoon. 9. Bake 12-15 minutes, or until edges brown. 10. Allow cooling on wire rack. |
